The design of this set of vases actually came from an idea I had for a ceramic vase (worlds collide!). It is the first ceramics idea I had to write down in my notes that kicked off a whole list that is now pages long. To me, the idea was the perfect combination of skill, creativity, and simplicity. I could envision it as the driving force behind an art showcase called “Missed Connections” for the offset that was created from separating then putting back together. Always dreaming big! It warms my heart to see this idea translate to a totally different part of my life, another example of blurring the lines between art forms.
